Those words were like gold to me yesterday. WOW! I have hope once again. There has been so much crap going on around here lately and it just seemed to get worse yesterday. The news we had been dreading but probably in the back of our minds knew was coming, happened. I won’t get into the details but all this crap has affected our family down to its core. Oh, there will be a reckoning and all I know to say is that ‘What Goes Around, Comes Around!”
Here’s a layout I did for some of my own Scrap Therapy!
I used Kathryn Wilson’s ‘Intrinsic’ kit coming to {WST} this Thursday. It is absolutely gorgeous and the word art really pushed me into getting my thoughts down. I want to remember this day and how I felt. I believe it will make me realize just how far we’ve come….later down the road. Oh, it’s going to be alright. I just know it!
And today, my house guests are off to get their taxes done! YEAH!!!! Hopefully, by this weekend, they will be moving into their own apartment and Bill and I can get back to being US! Oh, Happy Day!
Yesterday began our bathroom remodel! WOW! What a difference it makes when there’s absolutely nothing in the bathroom. No sinks, No Tub, No Toilet!
The first picture is a view from where the tub should and will be, looking towards the double sink and toilet. The second photo is looking to where the tub will go back in. I can hardly wait. No more carpeted floor! No more water leaks under the tub! No more yucky poo! LOL Oh, I’ll be updating the progress and by the end of the weekend, we should be able to shower and use the toilet! Right now we’re going to my mother’s house to take a shower. Thank you MOM! You’re the best!
So, life has had us one a roller coaster lately. Well, since October that is! Life just seemed to spiral out of control from that point. I went so far as to apply for an awesome team that required me only being able to be on one other team and I made that team too so it has helped me to streamline a few things in my own life. And, if all goes well this week and my house guests get into their own place, DH & I will be streamlining a few more areas of our life. We’re getting back down to the basics. I’m looking forward to what lies ahead. My supervisor said something this morning that I have thought a lot about lately and its my new motto!
” God Has a Plan “ I don’t know what it is, I may not like it or understand it but God is guiding us to where we need to be. Now, if I can just remember that and hold that in my daily thoughts and prayers. Yes, I will continue to pray. I’m not a big spiritual person but life is calling me to look deeper into myself and my own life. We’ll see where I go from here.
