I can NOT believe that Christmas is less than 2 weeks. Oh, and I haven’t done much for shopping either. I promised myself that this year I wouldn’t be waiting until the last week to get things done but here I am…late again. Between work and family, the time really just gets away from me. So, I’m taking off from work a couple of days this week to get it done. HA! Wish me luck!
This week has, hopefully, been a turning point in my young one’s life. After sitting around feeling sorry for himself, he finally got a job with a gas drilling company. Okay….what does ‘Fishing and Rental Supplies’ have to do with gas drilling?!?!? Totally learned something new as my son was trying to find the place. And on his first day of work, he gets called out at 10:00pm in the pouring down rain. Poor guy! He so much wants to be a police officer…more than anything. So, my wish for him is that he becomes an officer with the local police department early in 2008. He definitely deserves a break from this wild ride he’s been through. So, if anyone has any good thoughts and prayers….please send them to my baby boy.
Other than that, I’ll be supah busy these next couple of days but I hope life gets a little easier after the holidays. I need some Stress-Free time.
