‘Tisthe Season to be NICE!

Welcome to the Christmas edition of getting to know your friends.
Okay, I received this today through one of my online groups and thought I’d share here.  

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Usually wrapping paper but I love doing a mix of little things and love doing gift bags to put everything in. 

2. Real tree or artificial? HA!  Artificial with lights already on it!  I know, I’m lazy! 

3. When do you put up the tree? The Friday after Thanksgiving which keeps me out of the mad rush to the stores and pushy crowds.

4. When do you take the tree down? New Years Day or the day after, depending on whether I have the day off.

5. Do you like eggnog? Only my homemade eggnog and my stepson just absolutely LOVES it!

6. Favorite gift received as a child? I guess my Barbie 2-story house.

7. Do you have a nativity scene? I did but it got broke so I need to find another one.

8. Hardest person to buy for? My mom and dad.  Its about the same for them and it gets harder every year.

9. Easiest person to buy for? The kids…because they all get money.

10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? An ugly….no FUGLY, flowered dress that my ex ‘thought’ I’d look good in and he paid a whole $4!  Guess you know why he might be my ex now. LOL

11. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail if I can find my address book.

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? A Wonderful Life.  I just love the nostalgic movies.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Oh, my goal is to always start early but I’m most likely in the stores the week before.  And picking up one last gift on Christmas Eve.

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? I have never done it….not that I haven’t thought about it though.  LOL

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? EVERYTHING!

16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? Must be clear lights. 

17. Favorite Christmas song? O Come All Ye Faithful and Ava Maria, especially Celine Dion’s version.

18. Travel for Christmas or stay at home? We’re home and the kids come home to see the decorations and be with family.

19. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeers? There’s Donner and Blizten and Comet, and Cupid, la, la, la and the most famous reindeer of all…..Rudolph the Redness Reindeer!  Yep, that’s all I can remember.

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Star because it reminds me of the nativity. 

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Christmas morning.  The kids always opened one small gift on Christmas Eve when they were little. 

22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? The crowds and commercials get really aggravating.

23. What I love most about Christmas? ‘The reason for the season’ and attending midnight Mass with my parents.

I hope you’re enjoying the holiday season.  I’m still working on a couple of altered projects and hope that next week I’ll have them done.  We’ll have to see about that!
