It’s Thursday! And another day of Rain!

Yuck-O!  It’s been raining here for 4 days and as much as I think we needed it, I’m ready for it to be gone!  Bought some new shoes and I had to wear them today but afraid to get them wet as they are leather. 

Oh, and finally A*#hole, my friendly coworker, decided to apologize for his remarks.  Guess he figured I wasn’t going to baby his butt…nor take his attitude either.  So, I accepted his apologize and let it go at that.  I don’t need any explanation….and I’m okay with that.  He does promise to never let that happen again.  Good thing!  LOL

 Got a couple layouts done:

I really like Melissa Bennett’s Girls World kit and had to try my hand at blending again.  It had been awhile since I did this last.  Dance

ShesfullofScrap (Gretch) and I have shared a few CTs in the past and when I saw this kit, I had to see if she’d let me play with it.  Siblings  Seriously, I’m going to do another layout with it and see what other goodies she’s coming out with.

I really liked the Sweet Boy page.  Something about it just kinda warms my heart.  And thanks to Tracyfish at OAKS for allowing me to Guest CT there.  Very nice and cordial over there.

Oh, and I guess with the closing of StyleItStudio, my local girl (Lisa Marie Hankins) is going to PDW next month.  You have to see her sweet new kit ‘Carriage House’.  I’ll get something done this week with it. 

Well, it cold outside….I’m working….taking Michael to daycare and picking him up since Kaylee’s at Tech School and Chad is working.  I really wish my son would get off his butt and put in his application to the police department.  I really do think they’d take him and he’d be so much happier.  I know he’s scared but damn!!!!!  I really want him to move on and maybe……Move OUT!!!!  LOL

  And my heart just sank today when I heard that one of my favorite stores is closing.  TheDigiShoppe will be no more after October 31st.  Dang, did I spend some bucks there.  But it was soooo worth it because they had some really awesome designers there.  I was pretty active there last year but then there was a site reorganization and I just felt lost there.  Couldn’t really call it ‘home’ for some reason.  And I was avoiding DST then but I’m such a Talk-Ho now so that may be where you can find me.  Lately, I don’t really get as much time like I did earlier this year.  Between work and life that’s just how it goes.  Now, my 2nd favorite store is having a short CT Call.  Like I even have a shot in hell!!!!  LOL  But, I figure this is like my 4th or 5th time applying.  Maybe they’ll just let me on the team so I won’t bug them anymore.  HaHaHa!!!  …oh Robin….if you’re reading this, pick me Pahhhleeeezzzzzzeeeeeee!  Okay, begging is done.

I did a couple layouts but I’m still not happy with them.  I caught some kind of cold bug last Friday and I’m just now getting over it but I think it’s still hanging on in my ears.  Anyway, here’s what I did but I promise I’ll do better after this weekend. 

Well, Mom & I are heading up to War Eagle early Friday morning for some shopping!  Oh yeah!  She has never been and this will be my 3rd time and talk about soooo much fun.  I can hardly wait!   So, if you’re going to be up there this weekend, holler!!!!  LOL

Is this Monday, again?!?!

Okay, I’ve already typed this up once and I lost everything I had done and what I was typing up was a huge rant about a fellow co-worker.  That S-O-B has just pissed me off and I hate it when I get so damn mad I can’t even think straight.  This sorry piece-of-work-male-chauvinistic-asshole deserves no sympathy, at least from me right now.  I mean really….grown the hell up man!  So, this morning before our team meeting even gets started, this person comes in and because he didn’t like something that one of the other guys said, he up and walks out of the room and doesn’t even return for the meeting.  Well, we all know that he’s PMS’ng (yes, men can act just like that too!) and so during the meeting we’re told that the guy found out last week that he’s a Type 2 diabetic and may be a Type 1.  (Well, do ya think that the amount of alcohol he drinks might have something to do with it?!?!?  I’m just asking myself!)  Oh, and that since he’s received this devastating news that maybe we could show a little compassion towards him and that it’s most understandable that his mood swings are a result of the high sugar in his system.  Alright, that’s cool!  So after the meeting, I decide I’ll go check on him and tell him that we sure missed him during the meeting.  First thing out of his mouth is that he doesn’t give a damn about anyone.  O-Kay…..so I ask him if he’s feeling alright.  Oh, now it gets good!  This S-O-B tells me…to my face…that he doesn’t give a damn about me!  Hey, not a problem!  He won’t have to worry about my sorry ass being a concern for him anymore!  PERIOD!  So, my supervisor stops by my office and I tell him what happened.  Thankfully, my supervisor knows me all too well and when I told him that the best thing to do right now is to keep that ‘Mutha-F*&#^’ away from me for the rest of the afternoon he was concerned.  I’m sure he went and talked to the guy but you can rest-assure that if this guy comes anywhere near me…..ohhhh, there will be fireworks!  Hell, DH doesn’t even talk to me like that and I’ve been married to him for 16 years and I’m sure I’ve pissed him off a whole lot more than this guy!  Look out!

And on to happy things….I took the DigiDare this week and maybe I can win a GC?!?!?  Yeah right, compare to all the others that are participating?!?!  Well, a girl can dream can’t she?  LOL

And for the life of me, I can’t understand why I can’t do any layouts.  I know that I went through a phase a couple of months ago after my surgery but things just don’t seem the same anymore.  Geez, I hope I get out of this ‘funk’ I’m in.  LOL  (That so sounded dirty but ‘disco-ey’ too!)

Okay, since I’m still a little PO’d, I’m heading off this.  I’ve got work to do and then when I get home, there’s a ton of laundry that needs done.  Crap!  Just the thought of that makes me upset since DS2, who still lives with us after a year, was off Monday & Tuesday and didn’t even lift a damn finger to do laundry.  Oh, and then had the nerve to ask me if I’d babysit this weekend.  That boy is about on my last nerve, I tell ya!

Off to take a few headache pills and whip my butt into a better mood.  LOL

Layouts or QPs???

I have no creativity when it comes to titles some days.  Just wanted to pop on here and tell ya about this absolutely cool QP I made that will be coming as part of a pack at ES.  Tell me….whatcha think?!?!?

Sometimes, I wish I could do layouts like this!  I really like how it turned out.

OMG!  I just realized how crappy-looking the side bar is since I changed themes here.  Sorry….I’ll work on getting that ‘fixed’!  And I read an interesting post at DST about changing up the background of my lil’ ol’ blog here so I may try that sometime.
